Website 2.0. What’s new?

First of all, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who supports this project of free tutorials and experience. I really appreciate your interest and support! Quick video tips are gaining a hugely positive feedback (And 5k subscribers on Youtube) so I decided to update the blog to keep up to the challenge.

So, what’s new?

1. WordPress platform

The main thing that happened: the blog was moved from Blogger to self-hosted WordPress platform. That means that now you’ll see a better styled content, more meaningful navigation and feedback, better structure and many more features.

In another words: more exciting and pleasant experience for us all!

2. Featured content

Clear view of the new/cool tutorials and renders on the main page.

3. Tutorials

We now have a page, dedicated to the tutorials. Simple enough and should have done it long ago 🙂 Here we go.

4. Gallery

All renders are  grouped in the gallery page now and displayed using the cool masonry layout.

5. Responsive

It’s a buzzword, I know.  But yes, now it should be displayed nicely on every device, because the blog is fully responsive. (Though, if you notice a bug, please let me know and I will try to fix it. And IE 8 still has broken layout).

Awesome work man! It could use a little more gutter between the columns, but I totally love this new design 🙂

  2. Cheers, mate! Do you mean the gutter between the ‘main’ column with posts and the right sidebar?
