I’d think you should add my webpage/documentation about procedural materials in the “books” section. I have both the “basics” and how to make dirt/scratches and so on. Two documents… several of hundreds of pages describing almost everything worth knowing in an easy to follow way that gives photo realistic results in the end and is used as a base by thousands of Blender users together with my FB Group “Blender Procedural Textures”. The webpage that has both free procedural material as .blend files (CC0 of course) and the documentation (under knowledge base nodes) is http://www.blenderinsight.com.
